Itinerary
Whitehaven Beach
Whitsunday Getaway will whisk you off towards the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, where you can relax and enjoy the soft silica sands. Here you can spend as long as you like sunbathing on the pure white sands, or exploring the variety of marine life in the shallow waters. Run the pure, soft white sand through your finger and relax amongst a geologically marvellous island paradise! 
Hill Inlet
Nearby Whitehaven Beach is a low incline bush walk to Hill Inlet lookout, with a viewpoint overlooking the 7km stretch of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. Here you will get to witness one of the most beautiful sights in all of Australia, the swirling sands of Hill Inlet. Bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views of a turquoise mosaic of ever-changing sea and sand... indeed, the view you get is unique as it will never be twice the same!
Snorkelling
The Whitsunday Islands are an important part of the Great Barrier Reef. The fringing reefs that surround the Whitsunday Islands are a snorkeler's paradise, with their protected bays and coves, teeming with colourful and diverse marine life. Whitsunday Getaway carries a full complement of snorkel gear aboard, including stinger suits/wet suits, fins, masks and flotation assistance devices to make every snorkelling experience an unforgettable one. Snorkel with schools of tropical fish, and be amazed by the bright and vivid colours of the spectacular coral formations, keeping an eye out for sea turtles, clownfish, or the huge Maori Wrasse. The warm waters and calm seas of the Whitsundays are ideal for snorkelling year-round, with an average water temperature of 25 degrees.
Stand-up Paddle
Paddleboards allow for a great view of the surrounding area, and are a fun way to explore the reef and coastline! Keep on enjoying the sun as you glide on the surface of the reefs, having fun keeping your balance and paddling around. From above the water, you will get to enjoy the reef in a new way as you quietly make your way around while fish and other marine life hang out below. Great for spotting turtles, stand-up paddleboards are becoming popular all over the world.
Sailing
What better way to explore the 74 Whitsunday Islands than with sails up and waves below? Sailing is definitely a prime focus of Whitsunday Getaway's tours, adding to the sense of serenity of being on the water. Sit back and watch how it's done as the crew set the sails, or take part and help. Sails up and engines off, with only the crashing sounds of waves on the bow; this is the ultimate escape!

Day One
- Welcome Snacks: Assortment of biscuits and fresh fruit with cordial
- Sunset Snack: Cheese and meat platter with a variety of dips, carrots, celery and crackers
- Dinner: Locally caught reef fish in coconut and lime marinade, stir-fried vegetable mix, marble potato mash, crunchy noodle salad and French bread sticks
- Dessert: Cheesecake served with berries and cream
Day Two
- Breakfast: Tropical fruit salad with warmed croissants, cereals, yogurt, tea and freshly brewed coffee
- Lunch: Chicken fajitas with sour crème and fresh avocado
- Afternoon Tea: Lamingtons with tea and coffee or cordial
- Sunset Snack: Whitsunday Nachos served with a side of sour crème and guacamole
- Dinner: BBQ steaks with Diane sauce, caramelised onions, carrots, Greek salad and garlic bread
- Dessert: Chocolate cake with whipped cream
Day Three
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with English muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, tea and freshly brewed coffee
- Return Snacks: Iced fruit cake with tea and coffee or cordial

In need of somewhere to store your luggage while you're away? We've got you covered! Come down to The Travel Shop (344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach) to drop your bags at our secure luggage store.
You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, available for purchase in town. No glass bottles permitted (with the exception of wine bottles).

Cancellations
Free Cancellation - Up to 30 Days before departure.
Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before departure incur a 50% cancellation fee.
No shows or client cancellations made within 14 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Terms and Conditions
To enable us to meet our duty of care and establish an acceptable level of risk, EACH passenger must have a clear understanding of safety directions and instructions given in English by the crew and be able to complete the required safety forms in English. A passenger is only able to participate in water activities if they have a level of swimming experience. If a passenger is unable to swim they will still be able to participate in the sailing trip, but will not but able to participate in water activities such as snorkelling. In order to meet our minimum safety standards, passengers must be able to exit the vessel unassisted in the unlikely case of an emergency.

Is there a minimum age for travelling on Whitsunday Getaway?
Yes- the minimum age for travelling on Whitsunday Getaway is 18years old.
Do you cater for special diets?
Yes, all special dietary requirements including vegan, vegertarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc can be catered for. Just keep in mind that there will be a small additional fee of $15 per day to accommodate towards your needs.
Can I smoke on board?
Yes, in designated smoking areas you are permitted to smoke.
Is there WIFI on Whitsunday Getaway?
Yes, there is access to Starlink powered WIFI on board Getaway
Is snorkelling equipment provided on Whitsunday Getaway?
Yes, snorkelling equipment including a snorkel and mask will be provided.
Is there air-conditioning on board Whitsunday Getaway?
Each cabin is fitted with an air-conditioner, and the main saloon is air-conditioned too.
Can I bring my own alcohol on Whitsunday Getaway?
You are permitted to bring your own alcohol on board. Please ensure you do not bring glass bottles on board. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Can I store my excess luggage somewhere while on Whitsunday Getaway?
You can store any extra bags at our Airlie Beach Bag Storage located on the main street, for a small fee.
Can I charge my electronic devices while on board Whitsunday Getaway?
Yes- there are USB charging ports in both the saloon and in cabins for you to charge small electronic devices such as phones and cameras
Is there drinking water on Whitsunday Getaway?
Yes, drinking water is provided for the duration while on board
