Snorkelling
Rub shoulders with sea turtles, say hello to a giant Maori Wrasse and let the texturally amazing soft corals whisk you away! Powerplay gives guests easy and exclusive access to some of the top snorkelling spots in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Dive down into the deep blue and explore world-class inner fringing reefs as you immerse yourself into the curious lives of kaleidoscopic marine life like never before. The swirling colours of these breathtaking underwater forests will have you falling in love with the natural underwater ecosystems of the Whitsundays during your time on Powerplay. Our friendly crew will provide you with the whole package: snorkelling gear, stinger suits and instructions are all included. So what are you waiting for? The mysteries of the deep blue await!
Hill Inlet Lookout
Art meets nature at Hill Inlet Lookout, so get ready for a day of naturally breathtaking sights in a lush wonderland! Embark on a light bushwalk and keep your eyes peeled for rare birds, goannas and native yams sprouting as you take in the untouched rainforest and its wonders. Get ready for a choir of gasps when you reach the top, as the native trees give way to magnificent views of Whitehaven seascapes. As one of the most photographed spots in the Whitsundays, Hill Inlet Lookout is known for its ever-changing swirling sands, created by layers of turquoise, cerulean and azure currents and bright white sand! Your camera and a sense of adventure are essential for your day of Hill Inlet exploring!
Whitehaven Beach
You might think you’ve stepped into a dream as you adventure to Whitehaven Beach. However, there’s no need to pinch yourself! Whitehaven is a marvel of nature, and truly a wonder to behold. Sink your toes into some of the softest sand in the world, which is made up of 98.9% pure silica. Ancient currents and volcanic activity have given Whitehaven Beach luminescent, ultra-fine sand that doesn’t absorb heat and is oddly fantastic for polishing silver! Mother nature really has outdone herself with this one. Laze upon the pristine, white shores or take a dip in the crystal clear waters as you bask in the Whitehaven wonder unique to this slice of paradise. 
Stand-Up Paddleboards
Powerplay offers a range of colourful paddleboards so you can make a splash to your heart’s content! Have fun and view the superb marine life from above as you glide across the deep blue in style. So try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding and surprise yourself as you move smoothly through the pristine ocean with ease! All of the equipment and instruction for our onboard stand-up paddleboarding are provided, making this water activity a fresh and exciting way to explore the reef for everyone!
Heated Spa and Trampoline Nets
Pamper yourself amongst the stunning Whitsunday views as you chill out in Powerplay’s onboard heated jet-spa. The ideal place to warm up after an ocean dip, or hang out with friends new and old, the state-of-the-art jacuzzi will have you feeling like a bit of a celebrity! For an extra magnificent experience, go for a warm soak in the evening and try to spot any shooting stars. Enjoy a cool beverage with pals, in a spa, in the middle of the ocean! You’ve got to love Powerplay’s luxury touches! Or, if you don’t want to get wet, hang looser in one of our trampoline nets, located at the bow of the boat. The absolutely perfect location for catching sunrises and sets over the horizon, get in tune with yourself and nature against the gentle lull of the ocean! 
Blue Lights
Watch the ocean come alive under the gentle marine blue lights, attached to Powerplay’s aft hulls. Witness curious and playful marine life, attracted by the luminous glow, interact, feed and play in their natural habitat after hours. Talk about dinner and a show! Spot massive trevallies, mysterious batfish, dolphins and dugongs under the mystical blue lights as they splash around in search of small squid and other fish to snack on. The Great Barrier Reef holds many wonders, and Powerplay is the perfect way to come face to face with these majestic creatures. You will certainly be in awe of the natural marvels of the Earth once you catch a glimpse of the world that lies below!

You will be sent an online check-in to complete prior to departure. Once you have completed the online check-in, you will be sent an email with a map and boarding pass. You MUST be able to show this boarding pass on the day of travel in order to board the vessel. If you encounter any problems during this process, please contact Whitsunday Sailing Adventures.
Please note that reconfirmation or check-in troubleshooting cannot be done through Sailing Whitsundays, and must be actioned directly through Whitsunday Sailing Adventures.
Cancellations
Client Cancellations:
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. Cancellations made 60-30 days prior to travel date forfeit 50% of the RRP. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Transfers between tours can be made at the supplier’s discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee.
It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to admin@mr-travel.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.
Supplier Cancellations:
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located at Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
Refunds:
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.
Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.
You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.
Accountability/Misconduct:
All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based on feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.

Important Information:
Please note: Powerplay is suitable for guests aged 16 years and over.
As Powerplay is very water-orientated, you MUST be able to swim to board the boat, and for safety reasons, you must also be able to speak English. If you do not fit these requirements, you may not be able to book this tour.
Your Responsibilities:
Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.
It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.
It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and the vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.
Prices/Extra Costs:
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply.
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.
We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.
Travel Risk/Insurance:
It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.
Merchant Fees:
Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

Can we bring luggage on Powerplay?
Because storage space in limited onboard, guests are advised to only bring small, soft bags on Powerplay. We don't recommend taking large bags or suitcases on Powerplay. However, we offer luggage storage for as little as $10 a day in our Travel Shop which is located at the top of Airlie Beach's main street. The address is 344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, QLD, 4802.
Are the cabins air-conditioned on Powerplay?
Yes, Powerplay offers air-conditioned private double and quad cabins for guests seeking comfortable overnight accommodation in the Whitsundays. Shared double-bed accommodation also has air conditioning and fans, while shared single-bed accommodation in the saloon has fans.
Is this tour child friendly?
No, unfortunately this isn't a child-friendly tour. Powerplay is strictly 16 years and above, and the recommended age group is adventerous, young-at-heart travellers ages 18-45.
Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets, etc?
Yes, however, if you do have dietary requirements, there will be an additional charge of $30 (excluding vegetarians). Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements and the crew will do their best to accommodate.
Can I bring alcohol on Powerplay?
Yes, you are able to bring your own alcohol but you cannot bring glass or red wine. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Can I come on Powerplay if I can't swim?
As Powerplay is very water-oriented, you MUST be able to swim to board the boat. However, this is decided on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to reach out to discuss this further with our team!
Is snorkelling equipment provided on Powerplay?
Yes, snorkelling gear including masks, snorkels and stingersuits are provided on Powerplay. Please note that fins are not included, and specialist equipment such as prescription masks may need to be hired separately.
Is there a shower on board?
Can you smoke on board?
Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas on Powerplay.
Can I charge my phone on board?
What are marine blue lights?
Marine blue lights are used to attract more fish to come near the boat. They emit a subtle blue hue that is perfect for spotting marine life! It's one of Powerplay's unique onboard features and a memorable part of the overnight Whitsundays experience.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
Powerplay is not wheelchair accessible
Which snorkelling spots may we visit on Powerplay?
Snorkelling spots often visited include Luncheon Bay, Mantaray Bay, Cockatoo Point, Mackerel Bay amongst others. The skipper will choose the best snorkel locations based on the conditions each day!
How many people can fit in the hot tub?
Powerplay's heated hot tub can fit up to 6 people at one time.
Is there Wifi on Powerplay?
Yes, there is Wifi onboard!
Are towels provided on board?
Towels are provided on Powerplay, however guests are welcome to bring their own if preferred. You may want one bath towel and one beach towel.
What shoes are most practical to wear?
Everyone is required to be barefoot whilst on the boat, however for the hike to Hill Inlet, it's recommended to wear trainers/crocs/sandals/thongs
How many crew are on board Powerplay?
2 - one skipper and one host
How do I find the meeting point for Powerplay?
Powerplay departs from the North End of Coral Sea Marina (meeting point B) under the umbrellas. If you head towards Sorrento's bar, then you're pretty much in the right place.
Is there a parking facility available at the Coral Sea Marina?
Parking is available at Coral Sea Marina, where Powerplay departs. Daily rates apply.

Great experience with powerplay! It started with a late afternoon/evening on the boat enjoying the views. The next morning we enjoyed 2 snorkelling sessions after an early breakfast. After lunch we went to Whiteheaven beach that was spectacular. The next morning we enjoyed paddles and headed back to the port. In overall, good activities, timing and food (just too bad for all the food wasted…). I recommend this experience!
